Can you use PLR content for Kindle Publishing? This is a common question that many PLR buyers have. Imagine the sheer number of opportunities available to PLR buyers if they could take the sea of PLR products out there and quickly put them for sale as Kindle books.
Here’s the unfortunate truth – in days of yore, this method of making money with PLR was possible. You could sell PLR on the Kindle publishing platform then. However, marketers being marketers had to make a mess of the entire opportunity, as they always do when they try to cut corners and exploit the situation.
What happened was that the Amazon marketplace ended up getting ‘spammed’ by thousands of books that were just replicas of each other. Multiple sellers were rapidly uploading their PLR eBooks hoping to cash in.
The Kindle marketplace became littered and cluttered with shoddy PLR eBooks – and customers were buying different copies of the same product.
Of course, since Amazon looks after Amazon, it quickly took steps to remove these PLR eBooks masquerading as unique content. It came down hard on the sellers and cleaned up the marketplace very quickly.

More specifically… this rule is the one you should be aware of…
“Public domain and other non-exclusive content
Some types of content, such as public domain content, may be free to use by anyone, or may be licensed for use by more than one party. We will not accept content that is freely available on the web unless you are the copyright owner of that content. For example, if you received your book content from a source that allows you and others to re-distribute it, and the content is freely available on the web, we will not accept it for sale on the Kindle store. We do accept public domain content but may choose not to sell a public domain book if its content is undifferentiated or barely differentiated from one or more other books. Also, we do not allow companion books based on copyrighted works (e.g., summaries, study guides, etc.) to be published outside the U.S. without written permission from the copyright holder.”
Guess what?
PLR is non-exclusive content. So, you CANNOT use it for Kindle publishing.
But… don’t give up hope just yet. There are a few ways to overcome this limitation.
Research
Use your PLR content for research. Since Amazon wants unique content, just use the research from your PLR to write your own Kindle book. Yes, it requires effort since you’ll need to do the writing… but at least you’ll save time on research. It’s a huge timesaver. If you have several different PLR eBooks on the same topic, you’ll have enough data points to easily write a book in no time at all.
Rewriting
Another way to overcome the limitation will be to rewrite the PLR content you have. Of course, your rewriting must be so good that the content must look brand new and unique. The Amazon algorithm probably has a way to detect if the content is unique or PLR. Trying to fool a billion-dollar company is almost impossible because of the resources they have.
Hiring a ghostwriter
If you hate writing, hiring a ghostwriter to rewrite your PLR eBook is the best way to go about creating a brand new book. Always remember to run your book through Copyscape.com to check if it’s unique. Ghostwriters can make mistakes too. So, be extra sure.
There are thousands of dollars to be made with Kindle publishing, and PLR content can give you a head start… but there is work involved.

Following up on the point above, selling PLR products as your own end-products can be lucrative but it’s essential to set yourself apart from the PLR buyers who have the same content as you.
Here’s the truth, graphics are EASILY recognizable, but written content is NOT. So, what does that mean? It means that the best way to be different from the masses is to look different from the masses.
Give your product a brand new look by getting new graphics done for it. If you’re artistic and proficient at graphic design, you can do it yourself. If not, you can hire a designer on Fiverr or Upwork.com to do one for you.
Alternatively, there are sites such as cheapminisite.com, myminisitegraphic.com, and so on that have packages for you to choose from. Just by changing the graphics, you’ll have a product that looks BRAND NEW in the marketplace.
Use PLR reports as lead magnets to build your email list. Once you’re driving traffic to your opt in page, people will sign up for your freebie. I do this all the time.
You can then market to them and sell them other products. If you need content for your emails, you can always use snippets of your PLR articles to create valuable content-driven emails. You can even build list loyalty by giving them free reports, etc. that are actually PLR products you put together quickly.
If you’re marketing in the real world, PLR content can be used to create flyers, pamphlets, brochures, etc. to market to your audience.
PLR content can also be repurposed into images, videos, etc. for platforms such as Pinterest, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook and so on. You do not need to come up with new ideas for different platforms.
You only need to repurpose the content in a way itís conveniently consumed by the audience on that platform.
PLR content can be used as deliverables for your membership sites. Newsletters, training videos, short reports, checklists, recipes, templates, etc. are all deliverables that can be easily created with PLR.
Use PLR to create bonuses for products youíre promoting as an affiliate. This will tempt your potential buyers to get off the fence and get the product just to get extra value.
PLR articles can be rewritten completely and used as guest posts on other blogs. Not only will you get an audience, but you’ll also have backlinks pointing to your site.
Rewriting PLR is easier than doing all the research and writing from scratch.
There are so many shortcuts you can take with PLR to accelerate your business growth and also increase your profits rapidly.
Time is money and money loves speed. PLR saves you time, gives you speed, and makes you money. Capitalize on it wisely.

In the make money online niche, this statement is truth. Beginner marketers LOVE to buy products. They’ll buy anything and everything in the hopes of making quick and easy money.
Often before they know it, theyíre in debt and they’ve not made a cent online. I was never this bad, but I different had the bright shiny object syndrome and bought more in the beginning than I should have.
Every single month, several PLR products are released and they make thousands of sales combined. PLR buyers just can’t get enough content – especially quality content.
However, while PLR can be used to further your online business you still need to ask yourself 5 questions before buying any PLR.
1. Why am I getting it?
You must have a purpose for the content before purchasing it and it has to fit in with your overall marketing plan. This may sound like common sense, I see it happening all the time. If you’re in the weight loss niche, don’t buy woodworking PLR on a whim just because it’s an excellent offer that you can use in the future.
Most times, the future you imagined using it in never comes around you’ll never get to use the content. Focus on only one or two niches at a time until your PLR is actually making you money. You can then get new PLR for new niches when you’re ready.
2. Is the PLR vendor reputable?
Many PLR products are just not worth buying. Do your research and only buy content from a reputable PLR vendor. Check the reviews for the vendor/products. Look at the content they’ve released in the past. Does the PLR vendor have a web presence and do they provide value other than just selling PLR over and over?
3. What exactly am I getting?
Pay attention to the modules/components in the PLR bundle before buying it. In some cases, you might be getting less than whatís being portrayed on the sales page.
E.g. 3 pieces of content might actually only be 1 piece of content in 3 different formats such as .DOC, .TXT and .PDF
Sometimes the PLR bundle may contain 20 articles and an eBook which is actually a compilation of the 20 articles. If you don’t pay attention, you may mistakenly believe that you’re getting an extra eBook filled with new content when it’s not.
4. What’s my budget?
Unnecessary spending has sounded the death knell on many a marketerís ambitions.
Making money online takes time and you should not approach it from a place of desperation. You’re better off getting a day job and using it to fund your online business until youíre making enough money online to quit your job.
5. Are the rights overly restrictive?
Some PLR vendors are so rigid with their license terms that they constrain you and eliminate several lucrative opportunities that you could have tapped into with the PLR. Avoid these types of restrictive PLR products.
Spending a few minutes pondering if you should purchase PLR or any product for that matter will allow you to make a less emotional decision. Your investments in your online business should be done logically.
Buy PLR content that serves your immediate needs and put the content to use as soon as you can. Do NOT let it sit untouched on your hard drive. That’s the surest way to forget about it and end up in a downward spiral where you buy PLR product after product without ever using any of them. and never enjoying the profits that can be made by efficiently applying the content.
It’s very common to be confused by the different types of PLR rights. Most people are at the beginning of their using PLR journey. If you stopped to think about it, knowing that PLR stands for ‘Private Label Rights’, why is everyone saying ‘PLR Rights’? That’s like saying Private Label Rights Rights.
One of the many inconsistencies in this industry but the term has become the norm.
The truth of the matter is that even with PLR rights, different PLR vendors have different interpretations of the same terms. The rule of thumb is this – always pay close attention to the license terms that come with any PLR product. This is normally included as txt file with the purchase file.
Some PLR sellers may have rules and stipulations that are unique to them. If in doubt, ALWAYS contact the vendor.
Now let’s look at the general understanding of the most common types of PLR rights.
Private Label Rights give you a lot of flexibility for personalizing/rebranding your content. Usually, you’ll receive the editable source files so that you can truly make the content your own and create your own derivative products.
The most important point to note here is the EDITABLE SOURCE FILES! Most variations of the rights are determined by the source files.
So, what are the source files?
If you’re getting written PLR content whether they’re articles, reports or eBooks, the editable source files will most probably be .DOC, .TXT and sometimes .RTF.
What that means is that since you have the source files, you can edit the documents. You can rewrite them or add your own name, images, cover image, and so on. You can personalize and rebrand the content to your heart’s content and make it look totally different from the original PLR product you purchased.
This is the strongest point of getting PLR from the original vendor. You get all the source files to get maximum mileage from the PLR.
Resell Rights (RR) products can often be found in PLR membership sites. These products are usually ‘Biz-In-A-Box’ PLR packages that have been converted into PDFs, MP4s, etc.
The main difference here is that the editable source files are NOT INCLUDED. This means you’ll only be able to sell the PDF or MP4s (depending on the product) as they are without making any changes.
There’s a lot less flexibility with resell rights products. You could sell them but you’d be competing with everyone else who has these products. Since most beginner marketers tend to compete on price, it’ll be a race to the bottom and they’ll all end up devaluing the products and selling them for peanuts. You’ll barely be able to make a profit.
That said, you still can use RR products to make some sales, create bonuses, or use them as research for your own content creation.
Master Resell Rights (MRR) products are very similar to resell rights products. The difference is that your customers will be able to resell the products as their own too. Once again, this leads to everyone and their grandma owning the product and devaluing it.
You’ll be able to give away these PLR products as gifts, bonuses or they can be used as freebies to build your email list (usually in PDF and MP4 format). Depending on the product, you may sometime get the editable source files but most often won’t.
Unrestricted Rights products usually have very few restrictions and you can do whatever you want with them. Do note that some clueless PLR vendors may state on the sales page that their products have unrestricted rights but then they have stipulations in the terms which restrict you.
Always read the fine print.
Limited content is not ‘PLR rights’ per se but it’s a type of PLR content that’s highly sought after. Limited PLR will have a limit to the number of copies sold.
In some cases, they may be limited to 100 or 200 copies. Sometimes 50 and sometimes less. It all depends on the PLR vendor’s preferences. The reason many PLR buyers love limited PLR content is that means there’s less competition since fewer people own the content. That makes it easier to personalize and rank the content in the search engines.
PLR Reseller Rights is a rare type of rights offered by very few PLR sellers. This type of rights allows you to sell the PLR as YOUR OWN PLR.
You’ll be able to include the source files with your package. In other words, it allows you to become a PLR seller in your own right.
Creating content is hard work. Purchasing products that come with PLR Reseller Rights will allow you to quickly build a PLR store and sell your own PLR products. Isn’t that fantastic? You can be a PLR seller in record time.

You’ll also know what you can and cannot do with the PLR you have. Congrats! You’re better informed than the majority of PLR buyers out there.
Making money with your private label rights content will demand a few qualities from you, and there are some requirements that youíll need to meet. This goes beyond the file formats and the idea of rebranding and repurposing content, etc. Those are the micro components needed to achieve your goals.
More importantly, to succeed in your online business whether you use PLR or not, you’ll need to look at these macro components that determine success or failure in your life and business.

Action refers to you actually using the PLR content you buy. It’s about taking the content out of its virtual box and putting it to use. It’s about spending time and effort to post the content on your blog and/or repurpose it, etc.
Action is work and the foundational key to your success in this business. Initially, you may hit brick walls and there will be a learning curve. It’s easy to run and hide when the tech stuff seems complicated.
But persistent action will mean you learn what you need to so you can do what you have to in order to effectively implement the PLR in your business. Like they say, “The secret to getting ahead is to get started.”
You will need skills to expertly wield your PLR content. If you have writing skills, you can easily rewrite the PLR content to make them more unique.
You’ll need to learn traffic generation and hone your skills so that you can drive traffic to the offers/content that youíve created with the PLR you purchased.
If you wish to sell a PLR eBook as your own, you’ll need some tech skills to upload the sales pages, accept payments, deliver the product, add the customer to your list, and so on.
All these are skills that are imperative to making money online. You WILL need to spend time learning and practicing to get good at them. Do NOT shirk the learning process because you fear the discomfort that comes from being unsure and/or failing.
The more you try, the better youíll get at it, and in time, youíll be a master at using PLR.
Focus is crucial to making money with PLR content. Without focus, youíll keep buying unnecessary content that you never get around to using. Focus on your business plan and only get PLR that’s aligned with your goals. If you have a prepper site, focus on getting survival content. Do not suddenly buy a bundle of online marketing PLR just because it’s being sold at a discount.
You need to focus on one course of action until you succeed. Do not scatter your efforts and diminish your focus.
Consistency is another important trait you must have. Keep creating products. Keep repurposing your PLR. Keep making blog posts and so on.
Be consistent with your content creation and distribution and be consistent with your traffic generation efforts. Small daily improvements are the key to staggering long-term results.
When you’re consistent, your efforts will snowball over time and youíll reap rewards many times over in future.
Last but not least, you must put your heart in your business and have your business in your heart. Even when you meet with failures, take heart and know that failure is not the opposite of success, but a part of it.
There will be times when your efforts do not yield fruit. Youíll be disappointed and think itís your fault. This is normal. Shrug off these setbacks and try new approaches.
If your product isn’t selling, rebrand it again and again or try another product or another niche. Take the risk or you’ll lose the chance. Keep trying until success finds you and it will. All you need to do is not lose heart and keep going.
If you can develop these traits and apply them in your business, youíll see success faster than most other people who go about it half-heartedly and never really gain traction. You must go hard and go all the way.

Google is such a prominent and dominant force on the web that it’s become a dictionary entry, a verb. When someone asks us for information, and we don’t know the answer, we tell the person to ‘just google it.’ Or even when we know the answer, and we don’t have the time to explain, we tell people to ‘go google’ the information.
Everyone knows what Google is and all website owners want their sites to rank high on Google. They know they stand to benefit from the search giant’s popularity. Even from the very beginning, Google did search engine right.
At the time every other search engine was focused on becoming a portal, a one-stop-shop on the Internet but Google was solely a search engine. When people searched for stuff on Google, they got much better results than any other search engine.
This largely led to Google’s success. To date, no other search engine comes close, not even Bing, the world’s second largest search engine.
Google’s Vision
“Organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful.”
Over the years, Google has continuously improved and developed their services to make it in line with their vision. Ask any so-called black hat SEOs out there – gaming Google nowadays is hard work. In the old days, they could fool Google by implementing techniques that made their spammy sites rank high on Google.
Today, this is no longer the case. If you want your site to rank on Google, you’re going to have to play their game. You’re going to have to follow the rules.
Otherwise, you risk getting your site forever buried in the 100th or 1000th page – places where no one will ever bother clicking. What this means is that your site will be practically invisible to people who may be interested in your content.
What Google Wants, Google Gets
No truer words have been spoken. Whenever Google releases an algorithm update, website owners scramble to make sure their site adheres to whatever information, clues, or guidelines Google has released.
But why should you care what Google wants? How would your brand or business benefit from it?
Before we answer that question, let’s understand the context first. Google is the number one website and search engine in the world. It’s got the lion’s share of most searches on the Internet with over 3 billion queries handled on a daily basis. That means billions of people use Google to look up information on all sorts of topics!
Now, imagine having thousands or millions of people heading on over to your website simply because you appeared on the top spot on Google.
Does that bring a smile to your face? Does the thought make you happy? It should!
Unless of course, your site is hosted on some cheap hosting plan. Your site will probably crash under all that traffic, and you’d need to upgrade your hosting to probably the most expensive option! But, that’s a good problem to have, you know.
A massive volume of high-quality traffic is a huge opportunity for your business. It will translate directly to more leads and sales for your business. To top it off, you don’t even need to pay a single dollar to have your site appear on those coveted spots on Google search pages!
So, did the above scenario convince you now on why you should care about what Google wants? I hope you see the light! If you don’t, you’re not going to land anywhere near the first page of Google. Your web pages will be buried somewhere no one will ever see, and no one will be visiting your site from Google.
The only alternative for you then would be to pay Google to have your site appear on the first page. This would be courtesy of Google Adwords which, truth be told, does not come cheaply. Other alternatives include paying for space on other search engines like Bing or paying for ads on social media.
Ask yourself which is better? Getting free and highly targeted traffic OR paying for ads? Of course, you’d choose the first option. There’s no point in paying for ads if you can get better quality traffic for free, right?
This is basically the reason why many webmasters and business owners do their best to make sure their site is compliant with Google requirements.
So, if Google says your site should be faster, then it should be faster. If you do as Google says, your site will ultimately be rewarded by higher rankings on its search pages!
Before you go off making your site run faster, you need to establish a baseline for your site’s speed. You need some tools to do this. Here are some of the top free ones which will give you plenty of actionable tips to help you configure your site and make it speedy.
Google’s free tool will allow you to check out your website’s real performance for both desktop and mobile devices. You simply need to enter your website URL, click on the blue ‘Analyze’ button, and wait for Google’s suggestions on how your site could be improved.
There are two tabs: Mobile and Desktop. Each tab will have its own set of suggestions on how you can improve your site’s performance on either platform.
You get a score for Page Speed and Optimization. Ideally, you want a perfect score. And it’s not impossible. You just follow the suggestions Google gives you, so you get a perfect mark!
PageSpeed Insights give you both the good and the bad. When you scroll down the page, you’ll see a section for Optimization Suggestions and another section for Optimizations Already Present.
What you want to do is go through the Optimization Suggestions section, click on ‘Show how to fix’ and do the necessary changes.
If you want to know the good stuff, click on ‘Show details’ in the Optimizations Already Present section. It’s always good to see when you’re doing something right with your website. It motivates you to go and do the things that need to be done!
Pingdom is another popular tool that you can use to check up on what you need to do to improve your website’s loading times. Many users love this tool because it shows you a lot more information than Google’s PageSpeed Insight does.
All you have to do is type in your website’s URL, select the location you want to test from (currently, you can choose from 7 different locations), then hit the ‘Start Test’ button.
You’ll then be presented with the results. First up is a Summary section which gives your site a ‘Performance Grade.’ It also shows your site’s load time, page size, number of requests, and more (see screenshot below). Further down, you’ll have a list of things to improve on in the section ‘Performance Insights.’
If you want to see which of your website files are contributing to your site’s load, then you can check the ‘Content size by content type.’
What’s really cool about Pingdom’s tool is that they include a waterfall analysis of your site. This type of analysis will help you easily look up which factors affect your site’s performance.
To use GTMetrix, you simply need to enter the URL you want to analyze and you’ll have your site’s performance report in under a minute. GTMetrix is free to use, and you can glean lots of information on how you can improve your site’s speed.
The only drawback is you can’t use a test server region closest to your location. Instead, the default region used will be Vancouver, Canada.
You’ll get a summary of your ‘Performance scores’ and your ‘Page details.’ You can click on the different tabs to get an idea of the things you need to improve on.
For free users though you can only see data for PageSpeed, YSlow and Waterfall Analysis. If you want to view data in the Timings, Video and History tabs, then you need to either register an account or sign up for a premium plan.
Google is serious about wanting to make the Internet a better place for everyone. If you want your brand or business to succeed, then you’ll need to ensure your site loads fast too. Otherwise, you’ll be losing potential clients and customers to your competitors.
Go ahead and admit it – you hate slow websites. Everyone does. So it’s safe to assume that if you have a slow-loading site, you can expect people to hate it, too. But why exactly do we get impatient and hate slow sites?
People used to wait patiently for web pages to load. When the Internet was still new websites took forever to load and no one complained. They were just excited to have the technology that Internet afforded. However now if people have to wait more than a second or two for a website to load, they click away. And no one wants that!

Every person’s time is valuable and precious. Every second waiting for a page to load is time wasted. Everyone wants to make the most of their time so when someone encounters a slow site, it feels like the site owner is not respecting their time.

Why wait when a must faster website offers the same information. It may seem like we’ve all become entitled to getting our way, but this is the sad truth. We’ve become spoiled by the sheer number of choices we have and the speed by which we can access those choices.
If you think your website is running slow there are multiple free services that will test for you. Take some time (or outsource it) to review your website speed and make sure you are not losing customers but wasting their time or giving them a bad user experience.

Private label rights content is content you purchase to use for your business. It’s often much cheaper than hiring a ghostwriter and it’s faster than creating the content yourself.
One of the drawbacks of PLR is that anybody can purchase it. But this doesn’t have to be a big deal for you. Instead, just take the PLR you’ve bought and customize it for your business by following these tips:
Change the Titles
The very first thing you want to do when using PLR is to change the title. When you search on Google, you can find millions of articles titled How to Choose the Right Lipstick Color or a subtle variation like Choosing the Right Lipstick for Your Skin Tone.
Now Allure magazine could have used that same tired title. But instead they opted to use the headline, The 10 Commandments of Lipstick. This title leaves readers curious. It makes them wonder if they know all ten of these lipstick rules, which causes them to clickthrough to the website.
Rewrite When Necessary
If you’re publishing the PLR content to your blog and you want to get organic search traffic, rewriting is a must. That’s because search engines love original content that’s entertaining and informative. In this case, think of the PLR you buy as a starting off point and make it your own.
But when you’re using PLR in other cases, you don’t have to rewrite every word of the content you purchased. If you’re using PLR in your autoresponder or as an opt-in report, just lightly edit it with references to your target market.
You’ll also want to add in your own opinions and stories to make the content unique to your community. Doing this establishes you as a thought leader in your niche.
Add a Call to Action
PLR content will often lack a call to action at the end. That’s because the PLR seller doesn’t know exactly what you’re focused on in your business right now. So it’s your job to add CTAs to the content you’ve purchased.
Think about where your readers are in terms of your funnel. If this is content that’s on your blog, then you want to include a call to action that invites visitors to become subscribers. If it’s a free report that you’re giving to subscribers, your call to action might be recommending they buy a product or service from you. Regardless of what PLR you use, always add a CTA to encourage your community to go deeper in your funnel.
Making your PLR content unique is important but it doesn’t have to be time-consuming. You only need to spend 15-20 minutes editing the content before you share it with your community.
